RFID has already established itself successfully in so many aspects of everyday life and will continue to expand into countless other areas in the future. This comes as no surprise considering that this technology offers so many advantages (as opposed to bar codes for example, which require visible contact with the scanner), and it has long been possible to mass-produce cost-efficiently.
